Randall | How did I get to where I am today? It's not a matter of: "I had a goal, and I followed it." It's more of a road trip. A journey. An adventure. I had a distraction, and I took a wrong turn. Be distracted. Get lost. You will always end up where you're meant to be anyway. You may not always know where you are until you get there, but you'll never lose yourself along the way.

Eternal Energy | I didn't want to tell it yesterday because I got too emotional. These words of yours spoke right to my heart. As I was reading, my eyes filled with tears.

Ayelet | I really love this poem, Randall. It's really wise and true, these "wrong turns" are what sometimes make us who we are, so they can't be all wrong, can they? |
Randall | Aww, Eternal, tears are the greatest determinant of a poem's effect. Ayelet, they are wrong only in that they didn't get you directly to your INTENDED destination on a straight-lined path. However, you always get where you are meant to go, one way or the other, so you might as well enjoy the scenery on the winding path when you take that accidental turn. |

So, one's INTENDED destination might not be where s/he actually or definitely needs to be. And this might be the reason why the path is not one of a straight line. You were wrong to begin with, so those "wrong turns" are really corrections made by divine providence. Praise the Lord (and the Lady)! |
